Through the use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this approach provides the foundation for a positive environment for growth. The Pyramid emphasizes how to teach, rather than simply what to teach, in order to maximize an individual's learning outcomes.

This two-day, 13 hour Pyramid Approach Basic Training will help professionals and parents alike to understand the critical components that ensure successful teaching and learning. The straightforward teaching methods of the Pyramid Approach can be used to encourage independence and cooperation, improve behavior, and reinforce learning across home, school, and the community.

Participants Will Learn About:

Using motivational strategies and powerful reinforcers
Teaching functional communication skills
Creating opportunities for learning
Teaching techniques (prompts, shaping, correcting errors)
Managing challenging behavior
Evaluating progress
